Design and Branding of Shopify Unite 2021
Shopify Unite began as a yearly event for Shopify’s partners and customers to hear about new product launches and have a sneak peak into our roadmap.
In 2021, the event became developer focused to dig deeper, get more technical and equip our developer community to build the best apps for the platform as possible.
At Shopify Unite developers who create apps and partner with Shopify can gather with their peers, learn about developer opportunities on Shopify, and collaborate to build something amazing.
Creating an engaging virtual event.
To increase interest and audience participation we designed easter egg content hidden throughout communications and the event. These included:
A custom coded arcade style, Shopify themed video game “Snow Devils”.
Custom illustrated art prints themed for the event.
Developer themes memes floating throughout the virtual event space.
Custom event themed merch dropped throughout the livestream.
